The Division of Vascular Surgery is responsible for university teaching in which our highly qualified staff pass on their specialized knowledge and expertise to trainees and students. Postgraduate training and professional development provide the opportunity to consolidate prior knowledge and skills and are a key concern.
Thanks to intense collaboration, a link has been forged between our division and the clinical and preclinical divisions. Our students acquire an overview of vascular diseases, their causes and therapeutic options. Since international students regularly complete part of their studies in our division, knowledge transfer is promoted far beyond the borders of Europe.
The wide range of professional development opportunities at the Medical University of Graz is directed at a variety of occupational groups in the fields of medicine, science and research, nursing and health services. Most of the professional development courses can be completed while the participant is regularly employed and provide him/her with a valuable additional qualification.
